Te Aroha College is committed to fostering “the arts” at our school - the performing arts, (Music and Drama) and visual arts (Art and Photography).
Dr Ken Robinson, says The Arts should be considered a very important subject in any curriculum.
Te Aroha College is fully committed to that ideal.
We have had many well directed productions over the years since Ms Hagan took over the Drama Department in 2007 which coincided with more funding becoming available for the Performing Arts.
Since then, evening performances - Niu Sila, Rosie, Skate and When Sun and Moon Collide - have provided many great opportunities for our students to showcase their talent to the community.
